Happy New Year. 1433 H.

Salaam a'laikum warahmatullah.

The new year of Hijr has come.

From 1432H to 1433 H.

Which should make us realize that time is moving

Yes, moving until where it should stops (in earth context), 

The yaumul kiyamah. (the day of resurrection)

Where the world are approaching its doom.

We are approaching our demise.

Life is getting to its end.

The new year of Hijr has come.

Lets celebrate and appreciate it.

As it symbolize our kind, beloved prophet sacrifices

moving from his hometown (makkah al mukarramah) , where he was born

leaving all his wealth and family

to a new place (medina al munawwarah), under Allah's order.

for the sake of the religion, 

the ummah.

The new year of Hijr has come.

With guilt and hope.

Guilty for all the sins that we've done

Which is always repeated after repent

But the hope never dies

It come to us, so that we start a better life tomorrow.

The new year of Hijr has come.

Lets look into the mirror

What we've done last year

Does our sins outweighed our good deeds?

Or our good deeds outweighed our sins?

Only you and Allah know.

The new year of Hijr has come.

Brothers and sisters,

Let's make a new resolution and 

do amendments on the last year's resolution.

So that we'll lead a better life.

Under His blessing.

My New Year resolution is:

1) To be a better person (ok, this is too broad =.= )

2) To discipline myself in study and strive for IB 45. (ameen ^.^ )

3) To increase exponentially my knowledge and understanding of the ad Deen. (ameen)

4) To be a good and helpful son and friend. (insyaAllah)
