Thursday..!

Woahhhh.. Just wake up and now its Thursday. Next Tuesday, I'm going back to college with a title of second year student..! Wow, time fly extremely fast right. I still feel like yesterday I was on the registration room, walking and watching closely the mesmerizing and scenic view of the best IB school in the whole world. But like wise people said, "The Past is History", we must let go of it or else it will drag us behind.

Semester 1 and 2 at MARA College Banting really taught me a lot..! Yes, I think every single student there has parallel mind with me. We cannot deny how much Creative, Action and Service activity had taught us to know the community well, besides instill the sense of responsibility as a part of the community.
The thing that I like most in IB (for semester 1 and 2) is external CAS activity.

For the first semester, we do charity work at PDK Telok Dato', Selangor (Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti Telok Dato'). It is where unfortunate people rehabilitate and learn to sustain their life. I was going there on Wednesday, when it is time for teenagers patient, ranging from 13 to 40 years old, boys and girls. Some of them are orphans and some are not, which mostly suffer Trisomy 21 (Down Syndrome), Autism, and Hyperactive Disorder. Looking at them, I recall the verse of Chapter 93 (ad-Dhuha):

Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression (9)
And repulse not the beggar (10)
And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (11)

Despite the pity that we had for them, but somehow we feel happy to be with them. They are not just cute, but they show us another perspective of life. They surely widen up our narrow mind in the sense that actually in the real world, there are not just one type of people. The Homo sapiens are varies to one another. We are being made into nations, tribes, and race, not to mention the differences in skin colour and abilities. However, we must realize that we are created different for purposes..! Allah the Almighty has said in the holy Quran:

O mankind! We have created you from male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has at-Taqwa. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (al-Hujurat:13)

By the way, there is some pictures of us and them at PDK TD:

This kid has muscle problem. I don't remember the actual name for the disease.

I was doing the branch and Aiman was doing the root

Mr teddy being naughty

we did the mural mostly, without using brush. Just use our hands. Nice aint it..!

Err, mostly our pictures because their pictures is not in my saving.
Whatever it is, I am really gonna miss Wednesday for T1 timetable as it was the best time to explore the community as well our potential as a future doctor ^^
