sleep. WHY?

WHAT?
Sleep is naturally recurring state characterized by reduced or lacking conciousness, relatively suspended sensory and non-motor activity - inactivity of nearly all voluntary muscles.
It is distinguished from quiet wakefulness by a decreased ability to react to stimuli, but it is more easily reversible than hibernation or coma. Sleep is a heightened anabolic state, accentuating the growth and rejuvenation of the immune, nervous, skeletal and muscular systems.

FUNCTION?
1.Restoration
2.Memory Processing
3.Preservation
4.Ontogenesis


HOW LONG DO YOU SLEEP?
Different person has different hours of sleeping. Basically, children needs more sleep per day in order to develop and to function properly.

Ok, assume that you're 20 years old man and all this while, you sleep 6 hours per day.
6 hours per day means that 1/4 of the day and in term of your age, it is 1/4 of your lifetime.
How long has you sleep?

1/4 x 20 years = 5 years.

WHY DO WE SLEEP?
Is it because of the biological cycle that naturally occurs to all mankind?
You hear music, close your eyes at midnight and wake up at 6. Is that all?

SUGGESTION?
Why don't before we sleep:
1. Take ablution.
2. Perform Witir even 1 rakaat.
3. And if we don't afford and don't have time, let's just correct our intention. Make it because of Allah and it'll be an ibadah. InsyaAllah, it is worthwhile. So, we won't waste 1/4 of our lifetime for nothing.

nice,,but sleeping also one of the best way to maintain our blood circulatory system as it stabilize the heart beat from beating too fast,,in other ways,,when we have an enough sleep,,in a nutshell,,we reduce the risk of getting heart diseases,,=D
